What is the difference between Standard and Custom Procedures?

When adding a procedure to the case, you can choose from Standard or Custom Procedures. The Standard option is integrated with the American Medical Association’s (AMA’s) current list of procedures and corresponding CPT Codes. As you start typing either the CPT Code or Procedure name in the search box, selections from the AMA’s list will populate to choose from. 

The Custom Procedures pulls CPT Codes and Procedures from your Surgeon Team Settings. If your surgeon prefers to use custom procedure names, you have the option to create a list of procedures and CPT Codes in the Settings tab. This list populates for you to choose from when you select the Custom Procedures option.
